30 Things to do each year at Trenance.
We believe that children grow in response to adventure and challenge and at Trenance Learning Academy we want to give them opportunities to build resilience, determination and perseverance as well as give great experiences and memories.
Inspired by the National Trusts 50 Things to do Before You’re 11 ¾ Campaign, we have created Trenance’s 30 Things. The concept is at the heart of our approach to natural learning and is rooted in the learning experiences that the children are engaging with at school.
Each year the children will take on 20 Challenges that are based on the termly topics. These are recorded in a booklet that will be completed at school.
There will be an additional 5 Things released each ½ term which are designed for you to do with your child. We hope this will give you the opportunity to get outdoors and get involved with our community enjoying our beautiful locality, engaging with people in the local area or sharing common interests.
We will let you know about the new challenges through the 30 Things website, Tweets, Facebook and messages. Let us know what you get up to by posting on the website or bringing in souvenirs and evidence to school so that we can celebrate your achievements!
